Hats off in honor of Joe Torre. The Yankee’s long-time manager will not be returning to New York next season. Even rival Red Sox fans must pay their respects to Joe Torre and the clout that he has brought to the Yankee’s Organization. He will be a tough act to follow. He has been a class act and one day when New York looks back on its years of domination and dynasty, Torre’s name will be prominent in their minds as they reminisce. He gave the Yankees his best and will be missed. He is 8^th in all-time managerial wins and 2^nd in all-time Yankee wins. The impressive numbers speak for themselves:

• 1,173 wins, 767 losses: Joe Torre’s record with the Yankees.
• He led the Yankee to 4 World Series Championships
• He gave them 10 AL East titles (9 straight from 1998-2006)
• Under him, the Yankees reached the postseason in all 12 seasons
