We had a Nor’estah this past weekend where we go snow dumped on us on Tursday & then again on Sunday in the am hours into the late morning. When the dust cleared, I went out with my snow blower & plowed out the front of my neighbor’s driveway (she’s a widow). While I was at it, I also did the same for my tenant upstairs (a single mom with two kids). Our agreement is that I have the walkway & the front stairs cleared & she digs out her car & driveway. Not only did I clear a path to her car, but I also cleared the snow (about knee high) on both sides of her car and the whole driveway. Although I have to admit that her driveway isn’t that long. It was fun and I would have done it even if it wasn’t a day for bloggers to unite for acts of kindness. We should be doing small things like this for people everyday of the year, whenever we get the opportunity to do so! Don’t just let this be a once a year thing. Make a difference in the lives of the people around you ever chance you get!
