Thanks for the comment Marco.

Edwin Jackson is an interesting case. The guy was a highly-touted prospect five or six years ago, so we know the talent is there.

His career 383/254 K/BB ratio leaves something to be desired, as does his 1.53 WHIP and .273 BAA (including this year).

Kind in mind, however, Jackson is still only 25. While there's a chance his fabulous start is actually a sign of things to come, I'm not one to bet on a young inconsistent pitcher.

If you're looking to capitalize on Jackson's value, try moving him for a pitcher who has a proven track record, such as Cole Hamels. Depending on how smart your opponents are, you may be able to land the Philly south-paw because of his slow start.

Nick,

Great article -- I totally forgot about Randy Wolf. His BABIP has never been that low, and even if he keeps up his LD % and his FB %, his ERA is bound to rise. Plus, his FIP is almost .80 higher.

I have Mauer in a league, and am trying to get a premium short stop along with Geo.

And never looked at Kinsler, but that is huuuuuge. I completely agree. Go pick up Jose Lopez, and you'll have a decent 2b option plus an impact player at another position.

What should I get for Edwin Jackson?
