Kenn Olson is a lifelong baseball fan who grew up watching the Milwaukee Braves during the Golden Age of Baseball. The game is in his blood, a passion unlike any other. A past member of SABR who is a regular reader of Baseball Prospectus and who can tell you which team originally drafted a player, not necessarily signed, but drafted based on a database he created of over 3,700 active players.

I would vote Andre Dawson in. He lead the Expos in an era when the Expos had an amazing team. Along with Gary Carter and Tim Raines, all three of them are deserving of the Hall of Fame.
You just can’t vote guys in because they were “very good” players. The Hall should be reserved for players who were above and beyond “very good”.
