With the Division Title and the Wild Card still within reach, the Phillies got a monster week from 1B Ryan Howard last week. He scored 10 times while hitting 5 HRs, knocking in 14 RBIs and hit .382 with an OBP of .432
Unfortunately, second year 3B of the Mets, David Wright also had a big week. He scored 9 times while hitting 4 HRs, knocking in 10 RBIs with a SB and hit .500 with an OBP of .567
Receiving 6 stitches near his left eye has not slowed down Pirate’s OF Nate McLouth who scored 11 runs on 2 HRs and knocking in 10 RBIs with a SB. He also hit .370 with an OBP of .469
Twins rookie OF Denard Span also had a good week scoring 11 runs on 2 HRs and 3 stolen bases. He also hit .355 with an OBP of .444
The Padres 1B Adrian Gonzales is still hitting them out of the park as he hit 4 more HRs last week, knocking in 10 RBIs and hitting .310 with an OBP of .444
Rounding out the bottom 5 of this list are two more Mets and another Phillie. The first two are Mets 1B Carlos Delgado (4 HRs .407 BA .433 OBP) and CF Carlos Beltran (2 HRs 1 SB .407 BA .484 OBP). The other representative from Philadelphia is SS Jimmy Rollins (1 HR 4 SB .361 BA .452 OBP). Next we have Marlins 3B Jorge Cantu (3 HRs .370 OBP) and Indians C Kelly Shoppach (3 HRs .400 BA .500 OBP).
