Test Your Baseball Team Knowledge

The average baseball fan can name 23 of baseball’s 30 teams in a three minute span. If you are wondering how well you might fare, go to this link: http://www.jetpunk.com/quizzes/name-major-league-teams.php, and take the quiz. Takers of this quiz will be asked to type as many teams in as they can in a three minute span (there will be a timer on the right side of the page). If one does take the quiz, remember that all that is needed for a correct answer is the team name, not both the name and the city. Once the team name has been entered into the text box provided, it will be matched with its corresponding city.
Wondering how your favorite BaseballReflections.com personalities fared? Bill Jordan got all 30 teams correct with about 30 seconds to spare and Peter Schiller got 25 out of 30 due to his poor typing skills (his words, not Bill’s). Peter: “I type REAL slow! I’m practically one of the Slowskis from the Comcast/DSL commercials. :-)”
It is much harder than one might imagine, but perhaps the easiest way to do it is to name the teams from each division instead of just naming the teams as they might pop up into one’s head.
If readers take the quiz, please comment on the article and let Baseball Reflections know how you faired.
