If you are a baseball fan, I bet there’s a good chance you are familiar with fantasy baseball, where players compete against each other using real baseball players’ real-life statistics to score points.

In this article, we’re taking a look back at the top fantasy baseball players in 2019. Looking Back is a great way to look forward. I hope this list helps you consider these great players in the future. Without much ado, here is a list of the top 10 fantasy baseball players in 2019.

1.    Mike Trout

Mike Trout, an American professional center fielder, playing for the team Los Angeles Angels as number 27. Mike Trout is born in Vineland, NJ, in the year 1991, 7th August. 28-year old Mike Trout started his baseball career when he was 20 years old (he has eight years playing experience). Mike has a height of 6-2 and weighs 235 lbs. In 2019 he made a total home run of 45 and 285 in his entire career. Mike is the three-time American League Most Valuable Player, and eight-time MLB All-Star.

2.   Ronald Acuna, Jr.

Ronald Acuna Jr., a Venezuelan professional center fielder, playing for the team Atlanta Braves as number 13. Ronald Acuna Jr. was born in the year 1997, 28th December. Ronald is 6-0 tall and weighs 180 lbs with a total of one-year playing experience. In 2019, he had a total home run of 41 and 165 in his whole career. He made the MLB debut in 2018 and won the National League Rookie of the Year Award. In the next season, Ronald won his first Silver Slugger Award and was named a MLB All-Star.

3.   Christian Yelich

Christian Yelich, an American professional right fielder, playing for the team Milwaukee Brewers. He throws with his right and bats with his left. Christian was born in Thousand Oaks, CA, in the year 1991, 5th December. 28-year old Christian Yelich has six years of playing baseball experience. He is 6-3 tall and weighs 195 pounds. Previously, he played for the Miami Marlins. Miami Marlins choose Christian in the 1st round of the 2010 MLB draft. Mookie Betts is an American professional right fielder, playing for the team Boston Red Sox. He was born in Nashville, TN, on 7th October 1992. 27-year old Mookie has five years playing experience with a total home run of 29 and an average of 139 in his career. He’s 5-9 tall and weighs 180 lbs, and plays number 50 for his team. He became the first player in Major League history to win the Most Valuable Player, Gold Glove, Silver Slugger, World Series, and Battling Title all in the same year.

5.    Jacob deGrom

Jacob deGrom, an American professional baseball pitcher for the team New York Mets as number 48 from 2014 to date. Jacob was born in 1988, 19th June, in DeLand, FL. He has a total of 5-year experience playing baseball. Before Jacob became a professional player, he went to Stetson University and played college baseball for Stetson Hatters. Jacob is 6-4 tall and weighs 180 lbs. Jacob has a win-loss record of 66-49. In 2019, he won the NL Strikeout leader. He is also the three-time All-Star winner in 2015, 2018, and 2019.

6.   Cody Bellinger

Cody Bellinger is an American professional center forward baseball player for the team Los Angeles Dodgers. Cody is born in 1995, 13th July in Scottsdale, AZ. He has three years of playing experience. Cody plays number 35 for his team Los Angeles Dodgers. He is named the National League’s Rookie and an All-Star of the Year in 2017. He is 6-4 tall and weighs 203 lbs. In 2019, he also won the National League Most Valuable Player Award.

7.    Alex Bregman

Alex Bregman is an American professional shortstop and third baseman for his team Houston Astros. Alex Bregman is born in 1994, 30th March in Albuquerque, NM. He has three years playing experience with an average home run of 41 and a total of 99 in his career. Alex Bregman is 6-0 tall and weighs 180 lbs. In 2010, as a 16-year old high school student, Alex became the first high school baseball to win the USA Baseball Player of the Year.

8.   Freddie Freeman

Freddie Freeman is a Canadian-American professional playing number 5 for Atlanta Braves. Freddie Freeman is born in 1989, 12th September in Fountain Valley, CA. He has nine years playing experience with an average home run of 38 and a total of 227 in his career. He is 6-5 tall and weighs 220 lbs. He was drafted out of high school in 2007, and made his MLB debut in 2010 and became a four-time MLB All-Star. 

9.   Justin Verlander

Justin Verlander, an American professional baseball pitcher for the team Houston Astros. He was born in 1983, 20th February in Manakin Sabot, VA. From Manakin-Sabot, Virginia, Justin attended Old Dominion University, where he played college baseball for the Monarchs. He has 14 years of playing experience. Justin started off playing MLB for the Detroit Tigers. On the 4th July, 2005 he became MLB debut for the Detroit Tigers. He bats with his right and throws the ball with his right hand. Justin also has a win-loss record of 225-129. He is a three-time MLB wins leader in 2009, 2011, and 2019

10. Nolan Arenando

Nolan Arenando is an American professional third baseman playing for Colorado Rockies. He was born in 1991, 16th April, in Newport Beach, CA. Nolan has six years playing baseball experience with a home run of 41, and a total average of 227 in his career. He plays number 28 for his team, and he bats with his right and throws the ball with his right hand. He is 6-2 tall and weighs 215 lbs. Nolan made his MLB debut with the Rockies in 2013. Nolan is also a five-time All-Star from 2015 till 2019, a three-time Platinum Glove Award winner from 2017 till 2019 and a seven-time Gold Glove Award winner from 2013 till 2019.
