Sure everyone knew for sure New England Patriots were going win their 6th Super Bowl, to add from what people saw, pieces written online the half-time show wasn’t all that. Yet for many Latin Americans like myself there’s the CARIBBEAN WORLD SERIES 2019

ESPN reported, “January 24th 2019 due to the political unrest in Venezuela where the series was to be held, there was talk of cancellation.” Yet at the last minute the series was transferred to the country of Panama.

Three! 1-Panama is not only hosting the series. 2- the games are being played in the stadium, which honors Panama Native and Hall of Famer Rod Carew. 3-The public was given the honor of seeing fellow countryman and the first Baseball player elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame unanimously fellow countryman, Famed relief pitcher from the New York Yankees Mariano Rivera throw out the first ball.

It’s also been reported that both Columbia and Nicaragua next year will most likely participate in next year’s Series. If one looks at the series the clothes are the flag colors of their country.  The fans enjoying every minute, the broadcasters seemed to be having more fun than the players.

The results of the first games played February 4th: Team Dominican Republic 3 Team Puerto Rico 1. Game 2 Team Venezuela 5, Team Mexico 1. No matter the outcome there’s Baseball and unity in Latin America.
