FIRST TIME IN 55 YEARS!CUBA WINS THE 2015 CARIBBEAN WORLD SERIES!

It took 55 years! Of course they had to put up with politics yet that made them more determined to win.
On February 8th, 2015 their opponent for the championship was the defending champs of the 2014 Caribbean World Series Mexico. Cuba struck first.
On the top 1st inning Cuba scored their first run and in the 2nd inning they added one more leading 2-0. Mexico rallied in the bottom of the 5th inning and scored their first run with a single. Cuba added the game winning run on the top of the 8th inning: Second Baseman Yuliesky Gourriel hit a Solo-Home Run to make the score 3-1. Mexico’s Right Fielder Eric Farris in the 8th inning added a run for Mexico when he singled to put the score at 3-2.
Relief pitcher for Cuba Hector Mendoza performed to a Mariano Rivera getting the last three outs in the bottom of the 9th inning with pop fly, a ground out and a strike out. Final score Cuba 3 Mexico 2: Cuba 2015 Caribbean World Series Champions! Now with all this talk of having a dialogue, ending the embargo, traveling to Cuba, and Baseball talent let’s see what happens.
