MLB Shock & Awe
- Updated: April 10, 2008

The St. Louis Cardinals, with their patchwork rotation is 7-2
The Baltimore Orioles are 6-1
The Kansas City Royals are 6-2
The Florida Marlins after their fire sale are 5-3
All of these teams are leading their divisions, but maybe more surprising than these four teams would be the Detroit Tigers being only 1-7!
But hey, it’s only April and just ask the 2007 Yankees about bad starts before you take any of these numbers too seriously.
For all of those in Fantasy Leagues with stars hitting poorly thus far (see Russell Martin, LAD; Carl Crawford, TB; David Ortiz, BOS; etc.), just remember the April 2007 that Rookie of the Year Dustin Pedroia had and don’t panic, yet. After all April isn’t even half over yet!
