The Factor12 Rating (F12) is an analytic measurement utilizing league average performance to compare the value of all MLB pitchers on 60ft6in.com.

(1) Justin Verlander regains the number one position this week after tossing his MLB leading fourth complete game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.  The 2011 AL Cy Young award winner leads MLB with a 31.188 F12 Rating.

(2) Matt Cain climbs two spots after his latest gem against the Oakland Athletics.  The right-hander leads MLB with 0.897 WHIP and trails the top mark by only .289 points.

(3) Stephen Strasburg is human.  The Washington Nationals ace allowed 3ER in a game for just the fourth time in 2012.  Strasburg leads all MLB pitchers with 118 strikeouts.

(4) R.A. Dickey flutters down three spots this week following a mediocre start against the New York Yankees.  The knuckleball specialist streak of zero earned runs in 44IP ended.

(5) Zack Greinke rounds out the Top 5 list with a 30.424 F12 Rating.  The Milwaukee Brewers ace continues to dominate at Miller Park during his walk year.
