They both started out slowly but surely. Japan scored first on the top of the inning with clutch single and added another run in the top of Third inning with another clutch single.    Mexico struck back on the bottom of the Third Inning when Ramiro Mendoza hit a two run home to tie the score at 2-2. It stayed that way until the Sixth Inning.
In Baseball anytime little things can hurt you. That’s what too happened to Mexico with in the bottom of the fifth inning. With a runner on first and third a sacrifice fly was hit, unfortunately the runner did not score from Third Base! Why? That would go on to hurt them!
In the top the 6th inning Japan took full advantage for their mistake, by hitting a Home-Run! With good pitching and defense they on to win the win the game 3-2, advancing to the championship game against California. The spirit of “The Samurai” lives on!
