The Factor12 Rating (F12) is an analytic measurement utilizing league average performance to compare the value of all MLB pitchers on 60ft6in.com.
(1) Justin Verlander is the 2012 Factor12 Champion. The 2011 AL Cy Young winner finishes the season with a MLB-best 31.422 F12 Rating, 238.33 IP, 239 SO, and 6 CG.
(2) Clayton Kershaw is the top runner-up. The 2011 NL Cy Young Award winner completes the season with a 2.53 ERA, the lowest in MLB.
(3) Felix Hernandez season was highlighted by the 23rd perfect game in MLB history. “The King” leads MLB with five shutouts (four 1-0 victories).
