If I were Johan Santana

If I was Johan Santana and just wanted a World Series ring, I’d be in Twins GM Bill Smith’s ear about working out a trade to an American League (AL) team like the Red Sox, Yankees, Indians or Angels.
If I was Johan Santana and just wanted to be as successful as possible, I’d be in Twins GM Bill Smith’s ear about working out a trade to a National League (NL) team like Phillies, Rockies, Diamondbacks, Cubs, Braves or Brewers.
If he is this dominant in the AL with the DH rule, it is scary to think how much better he would be in the NL where weak offensive pitchers (outside of Arizona’s Micha Owings) bat 9th. Owings could bat 4th or 5th on some teams, but that’s for another post!
Either way, it will be interesting to see what comes out of this situation between the Twins and their Ace, Johan Santana!
