Factor 12 Leaders Week 10

The Factor12 Rating (F12) is an analytic measurement utilizing league average performance to compare the value of all MLB pitchers on 60ft6in.com.

(1) Matt Cain is currently the Factor12 Rating leader after twirling the 22^nd perfect game in MLB history on Wednesday night. The right-hander dominated the Houston Astros lineup en route to his latest masterpiece in 2012.

(2) Justin Verlander vaults into the number two position following his stellar outing against the Chicago Cubs on Thursday. The 2011 AL Cy Young award winner is back on track.

(3) Gio Gonzalez drops one spot despite a nice effort in his last start against the Boston Red Sox. The left-hander remains in contention for post-season honors.

(4) Aroldis Chapman drops three spots this week after allowing the first earned runs of his season. The “Cuban Missile” continues to rack up amazing strikeout totals despite his work in the bullpen.

(5) Stephen Strasburg returns to the top 5 list after his 6IP/ 2ER/ 8K performance at the Rogers Centre on Wednesday. The Washington Nationals right-hander currently leads all MLB pitchers with 100 strikeouts.
