(1) Justin Verlander retains the number one position following a brilliant 14-strikeout game against the vaunted New York Yankees.  The 2011 AL Cy Young award winner leads MLB with a 31.294 F12 Rating.

 

(2) R.A. Dickey delivers another silver medal performance after a brilliant complete-game win against Miami Marlins on Thursday.  The knuckleball specialist currently holds a 15-3 record, 2.72 ERA, and 1.00 WHIP.

 

(3) Felix Hernandez is the only reason to attend a Seattle Mariners game.  The right-hander fired a masterful two-hit shutout against the New York Yankees in his last start.

 

(4) Clayton Kershaw is rounding into form.  The 2011 NL Cy Young Award winner is currently 9-6, 2.88 ERA, and 1.04 WHIP.

 

(5) Aroldis Chapman rounds out the Top 5 list with a 30.215 F12 Rating.  The left-hander has struck out a ridiculous 100 batters in 53.67 IP.
