While United States of America watched the Super Bowl 51, watched the 1 million dollar commercials, Lady Gaga’s brilliant performance, and saw most likely the one of the greatest comebacks in team sports with New England Patriots Defeating the Atlanta Falcons 34-28. Latin America watched the annual Caribbean World Series.
This Sunday February 5th 2017 two games took place. First game Dominican Republic vs Venezuela. DR struck first scoring two runs in the top of the 4th inning and by the 8th inning led 3-1. Then with 2 outs in the bottom of the 8thinning Venezuela rallied with a single and double and then a two run home run, the bullpen did the rest. Venezuela went on to win 4-3, eliminating Dominican Republic who were the favorites to win the series.
Cuba Vs Mexico: The whole game belonged to Cuba winning on a shutout 4-0. The coming week semi-finals and finals. PALANTE!
