The pitching led by starter Samuel Deduno who achieved win hurling five shutout innings, relief pitchers finished the job Santiago Casilla pitched a scoreless eighth and Fernando Rodney finished the job recording his record seventh save.

Hitting New York .469 (15 for 32) with two home runs, six RBIs, six runs scored and two doubles.  Manager Tony Pena stated, “It’s an honor to represent our country and we needed to bring this thing back home.
