Editor’s Note: In case you have been lost under a rock the whole month of November to date, here’s a News Flash from back on November 3rd when the author originally submitted this article. We’ve been a little behind for some personal reasons. Please, don’t blame the author. Thanks!

This team has had fine players in the past playing for them: Hall of Famers Pitcher Nolan Ryan, Catcher Ivan Rodriguez, future Hall of Famers Adrian Beltrie and Nelson Cruz. Yet could never reach the big one. This past November 5th 2023 The Texas Rangers won their first World Series defeating the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-0. Taking 4 games out of 5.

Here’s the thing about this team: This team lost 102 games in 2021, making them the 3rd team to win a World Series within 2 years of a 100-loss season they join the NEW YORK METS 1969, AND THE BOSTON BRAVES 1914.  The Rangers finished 68-94 (.420) last season that was the worst record in Baseball.

To add several player on the team would have 5  finalists for the Gold Glove 2023. Among them The Ranger are catcher Jonah Heim, first baseman Nathaniel Lowe, second baseman Marcus Semien, Cory Seager shortstop  and outfielder Adolis García.

Cory Seager would go on to win the Most Valuable Player Award for the World Series 2023. Seager becomes just the fourth player ever to win two World Series MVP awards. He joins Hall of Famers Sandy Koufax of the Dodgers (1963 and 1965), Bob Gibson of the Cardinals (1964 and 1967), and Reggie Jackson (1973 with the A’s and 1977 with the Yankees). Seager also claimed NLCS MVP honors during that 2020 postseason.

With Bruce Bochy as their manager will this team repeat. As the Brookly Dodgers used to say “Wait till Next Year”
